Conduct a two week study tour during which 11 member s of the Nigerian House Committee on Millennium Development Goals would come to Atlanta, GA USA and would train with EuQuant employees and various other specialists in order to determine best practices in areas such as monitoring and evaluation, health, sustainability, education, gender equality, nutrition, and many others. The curriculum of this study tour would identify challenges that Nigeria, and the committee, face trying to create sustainable economic growth within the country, discuss best practices for moving Nigeria towards it 2015 Millennium Development Goals, and create possible legislation that the committee could enact to aid Nigeria in this process.

Next, they assembled an elite group of specialists in the areas of health, sustainability, nutrition and wellness, gender equality and education, good governance, procurement, and many other areas to meet with the 11 Nigerian House Committee members and discuss best practices with regard to their area of expertise along with propose legislative solutions to some of the challenges the country faces.

EuQuant Deliverables
Over the two week study tour, EuQuant staff documented and recorded all of the proceedings that took place. Additionally, the participants were provided with a full copy of all of the presentations that were made which will be followed by a full report that encompasses a thorough review of the challenges, solutions and notes that were made throughout the course. Moreover, EuQuant will follow up with the committee over the next few years to ensure that any assistance that the committee may need regarding implementing some of the recommendations that were made during the tour will be provided. The study tour represented the first installment of what will be a long relationship between the Nigerian House Committee on Millennium Development Goals and the EuQuant Staff. Furthermore, EuQuant anticipates the arrival of additional committee members in the future that will undergo the same two week study tour.
